Radiology Review
Crossland’s Independent Radiology Review is
a valuable tool in the assessment and negotiation of a personal
injury claim. Our film obtainment and handling department is
skilled in providing a rapid turnaround time with the highest
competency in film organization and distribution to our expert
independent radiologists.
Crossland has comprised a panel of Board
Certified radiologists and neuroradiologists who are proficient in
the interpretation of MRI and CT scan imaging as well as general
radiographic studies with subspecialty expertise in head and neck,
musculoskeletal, body, and central nervous system for imaging
interpretation. Our radiology experts are also skilled in the
newest technology and film-less interpretation.*
Our radiology physician’s expertise does
not stop there as comprehensive reports describe a detailed
explanation of what is revealed through a professional
radiographic interpretation. Additionally, concerns such as the
quality, adequacy and technological efficiency of a study, as well
as comparison of studies can be discussed and noted in reports.
Reports are case specific; therefore the physician can
address particular concerns as outlined by the claims adjuster
/ defense attorney individually on each case. All reports are affirmed with a
statement from the reviewing doctor.
New York
State
reports include the 2106 attestation.
Expert testimony gives credence to the report
and the physician. Criteria for panel admission and retention by
Crossland include the physician's availability to testify with
reasonable fees.
*Film-less radiology is a
Computed Radiology (CR) and Picture Archiving and Communication
System (PACS). This
new technology has become an efficient image storage and
reproduction system.
